The objective for me as an artist was to create an impressive yet subtle cleanroom design for an interactive isolator training program from Skan that will be translated into a VR experience by Demodern.
For this kind of project, the design had to contribute to the highest level of immersion of the user.
Because the application of the room would be an interactive experience, my cleanroom design had to be comprehensible and convincing for the user at the same time.
At the beginning of the project, I was undecided about creating a realistic cleanroom with purely industrial elements or a slightly more futuristic, fantastical version in terms of form and features.
I thought about different shapes and whether to introduce levels in height to give the room structural depth.
